Georg Kuklinski alias "Guitar-George" had a guitar shop in Essen/Germany from 1978 to 1999. In the early 80s he designed and built a small series of electric guitars named "Barracuda". This website is dedicated to these guitars.
Three different series with slightly different specifications exist: MKI, MKII and MKIII.
Both series have a neck-through-body made of three stripes of maple and mahogany with attached body wings also made of maple and mahogany.
The Barracuda bodies were made in Canada. Roumors say they were build at Lado Guitars, later models at Godin. I talked to Joe Kovacic alias Joe Lado about that and he denied that the bodies were build at Lado.
